Yes, that's a tomato in a peach costume
Do you remember this medieval deviation?
Well they're the same characters! Fuu, Zion and Tomate are back for Winter Fest 2013's poster art! The theme this year was "Mythology" and the Japanese Mythology won in a staff selection.
This is the first time in a long time that I use traditional inks, even the shadows are another layer of ink paper. This was really fun to do.
Well, er... there's not really much sense in what I drew respect japanese mythology, I liked Momotaro's story, and then "oh, momo means peach, so let's see... it's easy to dress Tomate as a peach and there's Momohime! Of course! All makes sense!"
But Momohime doesn't exist apart from the character in Muramasa... and... well did nothing but to dress her in a random japanese goddess.
